Infomatrix America, the Latin America eliminatory phase for INFOMATRIX, is organized by Proyecto Multimedia, an international non-profit company who develop technology contests around the continent.

Infomatrix America has 7 categories: Digital Content, Animation, Video, Digital Photo, Software Development, Ofimatics and Robotics, 2009 theme being "Diplomacy and Dialogue". Registration is already opened for the Latin America countries and on February 14 will be the continental final.
